President Maduro: 22 Years after the February 4 Rebellion the Revolution Continues in its Path of Unity, Struggle and Victory

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, underlined that this Tuesday marks the 22nd anniversary of the resurrection of the Venezuelan homeland referring to February 4th, 1992, when the military youth revived the people’s advance towards the revolution.

“Luminous morning of resurrection of the homeland on that February 4th, 1992 when the Bolivarian youth rebelled against imperial domination”, wrote President Maduro in his twitter account @NicolasMaduro.

He underlined that 22 years after civilian-military rebellion, the Bolivarian Revolution continues its path of unity, struggle and victory with the socialist leader, Hugo Chavez.

In another message sent in the early this Tuesday, the Chief of State wrote:
“Dawn of revolutionary awakening under the direction of the Giant of the New History: Comandante Hugo Chavez”.

On February 4th, 1992 was a revolutionary initiative led by then Lieutenant Colonel, Hugo Chavez Frias, who –along with other army officials rose against the decadence of the political system represented by the President of that time, Carlos Andres Perez.
