Venezuelan Trio "Ensamble a contratiempo" in San Francisco

From April 18 to 20, the Venezuelan Trio  “Ensamble a contratiempo”  will be present in various venues in  the San Francisco Area.

Ensamble a contratiempo from Caracas, Venezuela, draws inspiration from the  folkloric traditions of their land, yet infuse their music in new and exciting ways into the realms of jazz, bossa nova and other world musical styles.  The trio features Angel Tolosa on the "arpa llanera" (harp of the plains), accompanied by bass and cuatro (small folkloric guitar).
